ACCC lashes caravan industry over poor consumer treatment

The consumer watchdog has taken aim at the $23 billion caravan industry over delayed delivery of new builds, widespread consumer guarantee failures and warranty concerns.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said more than a third of respondents to a survey of 2270 owners had to wait more than six months for delivery, while others had to wait for a year or more.
