Beadell Resources topped a quiet day in equity capital raisings on Friday, with the announcement of a $30 million deal. Elsewhere, APA Group confirmed it had successfully tapped the market for $300 million.

■ Castle Minerals raised $4.8 million through the issue of 13.9 million shares at 35¢ each. US-based private equity firm Resource Capital Funds was among the new shareholders, picking up a 4.3 per cent stake.
