What Senate inquiry said about big four, now trying to ‘rebuild trust’

The big four consultancies have welcomed the final report of a Senate inquiry into the sector, which focused primarily on structural issues and avoided direct criticism of individuals and firms.
But the report noted a “range of evidence that speaks to poor culture” across the firms, including power mapping, exam cheating and conflicts of interest.
