Australia's top law firms continue to move away from the equal profit-share model when it comes to rewarding partners, with the "eat what you kill" model gaining more traction.

The latest Australian Financial Review Law Partnership Survey also reveals that almost a third of partners are salaried, with that position becoming entrenched over the past five years.
