Legal outfit Shine Corporate has finished a year marred by impairments, settling a class-action lawsuit against itself and taking a deeper haircut on money owed to it to boost cash flows.

The Brisbane-based company on Wednesday was hoping for improved performance as it develops new online claims technology and expands in new legal areas.
