Lawyer’s ‘regret’ as $500m class action settles for $11m

A potential $500 million class action against Australia’s largest retirement village operator, Aveo Group, has been settled.
The law firm behind the claim, Levitt Robinson, conceded it had no case and expressed regret on Tuesday for any “distress and anxiety” caused by the litigation.
