For Justin D’Agostino, the openly gay global boss of law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, the Mardi Gras parade last weekend was a revelation.

Mr D’Agostino marched with the float promoting the 11th Gay Games in November in Hong Kong, where he lives with his partner of the past 19 years, and is now looking forward to the Pride March across Sydney Harbour Bridge on Sunday.
