Herbert Smith Freehills has hit record revenue, profit and partner pay as law firms continue to cash in on the return of corporate work and lucrative energy sector billings.

HSF – which, as a British-registered firm, is required to publish annual financial results – grew its global revenue by 10.1 per cent to £1.3 billion ($2.5 billion) in the year to April 30.
