Hicksons Lawyers will merge with the NSW partners and staff of national outfit Hunt & Hunt as fee pressures and rising costs associated with artificial intelligence begin to force consolidation among smaller law firms.

Nine partners and more than 80 staff from Hunt & Hunt are expected to join Hicksons.
