Australia should send more liquified natural gas to Europe if the Ukraine crisis escalates and supplies from Russia are cut further, says Worley chief executive Chris Ashton.

“The Australian government has made efforts to ensure that LNG supply can get to Europe to counter the influence of Russia. That’s just demonstrative of the kind of political collaboration the West would bring to one another in a situation such as this,” Mr Ashton told The Australian Financial Review after Worley’s interim profit rose more than threefold to $79 million.
