EY Oceania has cut about 90 roles, or about 1 per cent, of its 9000-strong workforce, in a sign that the advisory market continues to be difficult for the major firms.
The cuts, made about a fortnight ago, affected consulting staff, including workers at Future Friendly, a digital design firm purchased by EY in 2023 as part of a push by the big four firm to create a new service line.
