Charities risk losing perspective as they battle to survive, so John Wylie’s Tanarra Social Purpose has gifted them a survey of major donors, outlining what they like to see in the not-for-profits they back.

Tanarra Social Purpose, which has provided pro bono strategic and financial advice to more than 360 charities since the investment banker founded it in 2017, conducted the survey of 30 philanthropic organisations after observing charities “doing it tougher than ever”, said chief executive Lisa Kingman.
