Accounting giant Deloitte has accused Freedom Foods Group, which is now known as Noumi, of providing financial data that did not provide “a true and fair view” of the struggling company’s performance, as part of an ongoing class action brought by investors in the company.

Deloitte told the Victorian Supreme Court this meant it should not be liable for any losses it suffers because of the class action, saying the company did provide accurate information during its audits.
