Big billing MinterEllison partners in line for more lucrative paydays

MinterEllison has quietly amended the way it pays its partners to increase their earnings capacity as it responds to demands from its highest-performing lawyers and fights off chequebook-wielding rivals.

The changes at the top-tier firm are designed to reward big-billing lawyers by stretching equity allocations at the top of the ladder, creating a larger gap between top earners and the rest of the partnership.
