Mr Alex Holland
A series of articles reporting on NSW Supreme Court proceedings brought by barrister Louise McBride in relation to a fake artwork (December 5, 6-7, 12, and January 13) suggested that Mr Alex Holland of Holland Fine Art & Cars Pty Limited (HFA) had been found by the Court to have engaged in misleading and deceptive conduct, and was ordered to pay Ms McBride 10 percent of the damages awarded to her. This was incorrect. The articles should have referred to findings against HFA, rather than Mr Holland. A claim against Mr Holland for being knowingly involved in the conduct was dismissed.
