Sandfire Resources says sorry in Indigenous heritage row

Sandfire Resources has apologised for disturbing two Indigenous artefact scatter sites in Western Australia amid an investigation into whether the copper miner breached heritage protection laws.
In a joint statement with representatives of the Yugunga-Nya community, Sandfire conceded it failed to protect the scatter sites and was “deeply sorry”.
