Rio Tinto has cut its iron-ore production guidance because of struggles with software for its driverless trains.
Rio Tinto's struggles to get the software in sync for its driverless trains has forced it to cut its iron ore production guidance.
The miner pared its iron-ore production guidance for 2017 by as much as 20 million tonnes, to between 330 and 340 million tonnes. It left its guidance for shipments for 2016 unchanged at "around" 350 million tonnes but will have to accelerate this year to hit that.
