Rio’s Indigenous trailblazer accuses green groups of exploitation

History-making Aboriginal leader Ben Wyatt has accused conservationists and investor activist groups of trying to exploit Indigenous culture for their own policy and anti-development agendas.
Mr Wyatt said the behaviour of some groups “left a lot to be desired” and failed to acknowledge the right of Aboriginal people under native title to determine their future through agreements with resources companies.
