Palmer confident on $40b coal damages claim

Clive Palmer says he is on solid legal ground with fresh damages claims totalling about $40 billion against the Commonwealth over his Waratah coal project in Queensland.
The Waratah claims are on top of Mr Palmer seeking almost $US200 billion ($300 billion) in damages from Australia in a case related to stalled iron ore projects and emergency legislation passed by the West Australian government.
