Former NSW Labor minister Eddie Obeid and his five sons are set to give evidence this week at an historic inquiry into political corruption, following testimony from wealthy businessman John McGuigan .

The Independent Commission Against Corruption is investigating a multimillion-dollar coal deal between the Obeids and mining company Cascade Coal, of which Mr McGuigan is a director and founding investor.
