It’s understood at least two brokers were offering around 20 million shares in controversial Nucoal Resources , developer of the Doyles Creek mine in the Hunter Valley, late last week.

While the owner of the shares was not identified and recent volumes suggest the line was not traded, fingers pointed at John Maitland’s vehicle, Jonca Investments, as a likely seller.
