NSW enters critical minerals race with $250m scheme

The NSW government is seeking to bolster critical mineral explorers in the state by offering up to $250 million in deferred royalty payments once the mines become operational.
The initiative is the cornerstone of the state’s Critical Minerals and High-Tech Metals Strategy, to be unveiled on Friday, which is designed to position NSW as a player in the burgeoning critical minerals sector.
