Palace Hotel owner Ashok Parekh says the Albanese and West Australian governments should have moved faster and more decisively to stop the BHP nickel business being mothballed and other mines shutting down.
BHP smelter and mine workers have been turning up at the landmark pub in Kalgoorlie since Thursday to drown their sorrows.
