The Albanese government’s consideration of a production tax credit for the critical minerals sector is a feather in the cap for the group that might best be called “the other minerals council”.
Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) chief executive Warren Pearce has been banging down the door on a production tax credit for more than a year.
