It has taken three years, but New Century Resources is finally making money from its unique "economic rehabilitation" project in Queensland.

The company has become the world's 10th-biggest biggest zinc producer in the past year by taking the waste material left behind by MMG Limited at the Century mine, and putting that material through the processing circuit for a second time.
