Chris Ellison has ruled Mineral Resources out of the running for iron ore assets controlled BCI Minerals as he pushes ahead with light rail and berth development plans in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
There was speculation MinRes might be a potential bidder after the Kerry Stokes-backed BCI put its sizeable Pilbara portfolio on the market, but Mr Ellison said he wasn't interested given what is already on his plate.
