MinRes mothballs Bald Hill mine as lithium collapse takes toll

Mineral Resources has become the latest lithium producer to fall victim to the collapse in prices after the beleaguered miner mothballed its Bald Hill operations.
The West Australian miner said it would cease operations at Bald Hill immediately – a decision that will result in 300 staff either being axed or redeployed to other MinRes plants.
