Mining industry lashes out as NSW blocks Bylong coal project

The NSW Minerals Council says the state is in danger of becoming an international investment laughing stock after the Independent Planning Commission blocked development of a major coal mine.
The IPC cited climate change and a related landmark NSW court ruling as factors in rejecting South Korea company KEPCO's plans for the Bylong coal mine near Mudgee.
