It has been a big week for Indonesian coalminer Kangaroo Resources .
The company had signed a deal in December to acquire the giant Pakar project, with resources of 3.1 billion tonnes of thermal coal from PT Bayan Resources, giving the Indonesian company a 56 per cent stake in locally listed Kangaroo.
