Investors scold Pilbara Minerals over CEO pay, diversity
US shareholders issued a sharp rebuke of Australia’s largest pure-play lithium miner Pilbara Minerals at its annual general meeting on Tuesday, criticising chief executive Dale Henderson’s bonus and the board’s lack of diversity.
Mr Henderson’s bonus faced significant opposition, with 21 per cent of proxy votes cast against the mining boss’s award at the meeting in Perth. Pilbara Minerals’ remuneration report passed, along with four other resolutions proposed by the board.
