Brian Flannery looks to have the perfect combination going in his investment portfolio: fast-rising small resources stocks and a good exposure to the booming property sector.

When it comes to his mining stocks, Flannery's collection of shares have performed extremely well of late with almost half a dozen of his holdings providing returns of more than 30 per cent in the past 12 months.
