Iron ore explorer Flinders Mines has received environmental approvals for its proposed mine in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
The company said on Monday its $1.1 billion Pilbara Iron Ore Project (PIOP) had received environmental approvals from the Western Australian and federal governments, allowing it to produce up to 15 million tonnes of iron ore per annum.
