Chris Ellison’s Mineral Resources has started producing iron ore from a new mine at a centre of a legal battle with fellow Rich Lister Andrew Forrest’s Fortescue Metals Group.

Mineral Resources celebrated the production milestone just five months after breaking ground at the Wonmunna project in Western Australia’s Pilbara that was once touted as having the potential to become the first indigenous-owned iron ore mine.
