Element Zero co-founder recalls smooth flight with Fortescue top brass

Element Zero co-founder Michael Masterman says Fortescue leaders raised no concerns about his company’s green iron technology when they were reunited on a private plane to attend the funeral of Andrew Forrest’s father.

Mr Masterman, in an affidavit filed with the Federal Court, also denies that Fortescue’s then-company secretary and general counsel Phil McKeiver had raised concerns about intellectual property infringements two months before that flight, in October last year.
