Climate Action 100+: Australia's biggest emitters claim progress on climate risk
Companies in the sights of environmental pressure group Climate Action 100+ such as Qantas, Woolworths and Santos say they are taking steps to reduce their emissions and improve reporting on the risks to their businesses from climate change.
The influence of the global group, comprising more than 300 investors who control $32 trillion, hit home for Australian companies last week after it was revealed its campaigning had prompted the country's largest coal miner, Glencore, to commit to capping its global coal production.
