Mineral Resources managing director Chris Ellison has lost one of his key boardroom backers after Zimi Meka became the sixth director in as many months to head for the door at the tarnished miner.
Meka’s exit means that just three of the nine-member board at last November’s shareholder meeting will return this year, being Ellison, and independent non-executive directors Colleen Hayward and Xi Xi.
