Favourable news by a number of companies prompted significant share price re-ratings on Wednesday. Two of the companies I reviewed on Wednesday were Kathmandu Holdings and Silver Lake Resources. Both companies experienced substantial share price increases, and this could continue on Thursday given the positive commentary that was released overnight by brokers.

As I mentioned on Wednesday, the resource upgrade by Silver Lake Resources was extremely promising, but this may be the forerunner to further good news that could potentially prompt a share price re-rating. Analysts at Hartleys say they are expecting a steady flow of good results from a number of deposits that are becoming substantial with resources of more than 250,000 ounces.
