BHP is facing cost and schedule hurdles with its copper growth plans in South Australia, and is moving to strengthen the management team at a key mine.
The mining giant has turned to OZ Minerals old boy Jack Dermody to help with a near $1 billion underground mining expansion project at Prominent Hill as part of a leadership shake-up.
