BC Iron chief Alwyn Vorster out to prove sceptics wrong on Buckland iron ore

Proving sceptical investors wrong about the development potential of BC Iron's Buckland iron ore project is the junior iron ore company's new chief Alwyn Vorster's "major challenge".

Mr Vorster, who stepped into the chief executive role in late May, told AFR Weekend he was working to refocus the company following the decline in iron ore prices which forced the suspension of operations at its flagship Nullagine iron ore mine last year.
