Australia seeks clarity on when Chinese ties will bar miners from US cash

The Albanese government has asked the United States to clarify its plan to exclude companies with high levels of ownership or processing by China, North Korea, Iran or Russia from accessing critical minerals subsidies.
It fears Australian companies may find it “difficult” and “burdensome” to identify Chinese or Russian involvement in their supply chains.
