Origin Energy and Sasol, “the leading provider of liquid fuels in South Africa", have formed a joint venture to explore for coal-seam gas in Botswana. The joint venture has signed an agreement with local CSG explorer Sekaname to acquire three prospecting licences in the central province of Botswana covering an area of 3000 square kilometres.
