Medical Research Future Fund board to focus on commercialisation

Creating a road map to help commercialise Australian research will be a top priority for the board advising the federal government's $20 billion Medical Research Future Fund, says its new chairman, Professor Ian Frazer.
"Everyone recognises that Australia pulls well above its weight in biomedical research. We're not so good at translating that research into practical outcomes," Mr Frazer said.
