Warburton tasked to take on Seven's big challenges

James Warburton returns to a TV station which has been No. 1 for 12 consecutive years, but just fending off Nine for the title in 2019 won't be enough to revive Seven West Media's record low share price.
The traditional free-to-air market has come off and former boss Tim Worner hasn't used those big audiences to help grow meaningful new digital businesses, nor scale up in the battle versus Facebook and Google.
