Subscription video on demand service Stan will be hoping a new partnership with Hisense to have a dedicated button on its remote controls will give it a subscriber boost via one of the most popular television brands in Australia.

A dedicated Stan button marks the first local streaming service to secure such a position with a global manufacturer, the Nine-owned business said. Nine owns The Australian Financial Review.
