Nine hit with protest vote on executive pay at fiery AGM
Investors have punished Nine Entertainment’s new chairman and acting chief executive by delivering a first strike on executive pay and demanding answers about how they will reverse a sliding share price and fix cultural problems at the company.
Catherine West, who took over as chairman of Nine after the sudden resignation of former treasurer Peter Costello in June, faced investors at the annual general meeting in Sydney on Thursday.
