MMG to buy management rights

Macquarie Media Group has received overwhelming shareholder support for a restructure in which the media group will pay its parent Macquarie Group $40.5 million to take back its management rights.
Despite calls by some investors for the fee to be lowered, around 99 per cent of votes were cast in favour of the internalisation proposals, which will simplify MMG's corporate structure, turning it into a single holding company.
