I’ve seen what happens when a liberal newspaper loses the plot

Legacy media has to do the opposite of social media, and consider the views that some would rather leave silent.

It is now apparently acceptable for a liberal newspaper to publish a huge essay speculating on a celebrity’s sexuality based on nothing but fantasy. Tabloids used to “out” people and I hoped those days were gone but then, I never quite understand the contortions of the so-called liberal press.

The essay I am referring to is a 5000-word piece in The New York Times in which the writer, who is herself “queer”, kinda hopes Taylor Swift is also “queer” as she feels she had dropped clues about it in her work.
