The Australian Financial Review is Australia’s most trusted metropolitan or national newspaper brand according to the University of Canberra’s 2021 Digital News Report.

A sample of 2034 Australians drawn from an online panel of more than 77,000 people found that 57 per cent described Australia’s national business, finance and political daily as “trustworthy”, compared with only 12 per cent opting for “untrustworthy”.
