Bauer suspends print, cuts staff but PacMags deal is on track

A range of titles will be affected by the closure and 1400 staff will be stood down or made redundant as ad revenue plummets because of the coronavirus.

Bauer Media Australia is suspending a range of print titles, making 70 staff redundant and standing down as many more, but sources insist it remains on track to finalise the $40 million acquisition of Pacific Magazines from Seven West Media on Friday.
