Former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann invoiced Channel Seven, controlled by billionaire Kerry Stokes, for a “bag of cocaine” and prostitutes during a night of “trust building” designed to secure an exclusive interview, a court has heard.
Former Seven producer Taylor Auerbach told the court he had tried to resign, “ashamed”, after an earlier drunken night out but instead was promoted by the network, which he alleged received thousands of court documents from Mr Lehrmann in breach of the law.
